Tarnish Malamute Started in 1989 with our first malamute Autie.  Autie along with our two first two female Nicki and her daughter Babe taught us what a Malamute should and should not be.  Nicki and  Babe taught us want temperaments we did not want Autie taught us what a Malamute CAN DO.

Autie decided after a few issues along side a show ring that he didn't want any part of it.   So we choose to try the working side of the Malamute. By the time Autie retired he had a CD,WPD,WWPD,WTD along with teaching us the good and bad of a malamute

We feel that we have produced some outstanding Malamutes with a very limited breeding. Out main foundation bitch was a wooly named MY Friend's Izzy she produced our first Champion CH Tarnish's Canella Roja WPD. Roja was a red sable male with the nickname of Butthead and he lived up to the name.
